Rakesh K. Kaul has had a distinguished business career as CEO and held leadership positions in publicly traded companies. He has been the strategic advisor and chairman of the board of Spar Energy Systems, Innovairre, Income Discovery, and Spherenomics. Additionally, he is the vice president of the Indo-American Arts Council. He is a Granthika speaker specialising in Niti storytelling and a writer for major newspapers on the evolutionary forces within history, culture and society that lead to individual empowerment. His celebrated novels are “The Last Queen of Kashmir” and “Dawn: The Warrior Princess of Kashmir.” Mr. Kaul has served as Co-Chairman of the Arts of Kashmir Exhibition, Asia Society, New York, October 2008. He has contributed to the India Studies programs at UC Berkeley, the University of Pennsylvania, and SUNY.

His alma mater includes a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi, a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Brown University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. His community contributions have received numerous honors, and most importantly, he has been active in helping victims of genocide in India since 1990. He serves on the board of Jagti School in Jammu, which educates and supports the children of these victims.
